WR Leadership & Management Course

  • Open to: Any actual or future member of a committees or governing body of a club, region, or national federation (regardless of the level of experience or volunteer/employee status)
  • Instructors: World Rugby Educators
  • Certificate: World Rugby Certificate in Intro. to Leadership & Management

In 2023, World Rugby launched the Administrators' Academy, aimed at members of committees and governing bodies of clubs, regions, and national federations. This training program consists of an online module and 2 levels of in-person courses: https://passport.world.rugby/administrators-academy/

After an inaugural 'Intro. to Leadership and Management' training in Norway, and a second one in the Netherlands, the 3rd one will take place in Switzerland.

The feedback from Norwegian and Danish participants has been extremely positive. Many have testified that thanks to this training, they have become aware of their legitimacy to take on more responsibilities within their clubs. Some have found tools for developing strategies and ideas for recruitment. Others have seen it as an opportunity to be challenged and to question themselves.

In order to optimize our very busy schedules and to have as many participants as possible, the training will be divided into:

  • 2 face-to-face sessions on the same day as Suisse Rugby's General Assemblies
    • June 15th, in Yverdon from 1pm to 6pm
    • September 21st, in Bern, from 1pm to 6pm
  • 1 online session during the summer

The Course fee is CHF 150 per person and it covers:

  • Course fee
  • Snacks, coffee, and Lunch
  • Certificate.
